I also got my scholarship upped and will now be attending Brooklyn Law School. I'm very excited. I just wish I didn't already put $750 down at St. John's.
Brooklyn still hasn't given me an answer. I was put on hold for ten minutes and disconnected to learn that my application was still in commitee. The same as it was months ago. And the St. Johns deposit is due Friday for me.
Rumor has it that BLS got ALOT less acceptances than they expected and are in a bit of a scramble to fill their 1L class. Your HUGE increase in scholarship money supports that rumor... I wonder if this is a sign of the alleged 'smaller applicant pool' law schools are seeing this year?RobPS: Congrats on BLS... did you visit the school yet?
Do make sure to visit the school before making any sort of commitment. My visits to the few schools I was considering made me decide not to apply to BLS and to focus strongly on St John's. Of course, as a PT, non-trad, what I consider important may be different than other people... how comfortable I felt at the school is important, and I didn't feel comfortable at BLS. Just my experience, for what it's worth...Rob
