I'm wondering about that too. Also it says that their waitlist is not ranked? How do they pick who comes off the waitlist?

Maybe disgruntled saboteurs in the admissions office. Only thing I could come up with.

My bitterness towards all law schools in general is so evident by my posts.  I haven't heard from American too, but if you're waitlisted then I'm assuming I am too. Or maybe they'd just reject me. That'd be funnier.

I don't know how true this is but I heard when its not ranked its done demographically. For instance, if a minority doesn't accept a seat then they look at the minorities on the wait list and choose one, if a woman doesn't accept they choose one with similar numbers from the wait list, etc.

I think it depends on who decides not to attend. It seems that most wait lists aren't ranked because the law schools have a loose quota.

Waitlisted (3.11/167).

Semi surprised, but I guess it's going around.

Oh well.  I'm withdrawing.  Good Luck to all.

Mailbox had my wait list in it today. I gotta admit, I laughed out loud considering the head scratching going on and I was like "Watch, my waitlist comes tomorrow." I'll probably withdraw too, considering I'm slowly realizing I'm NYC or bust.
