Applied on a whim? Now attending?!

Yeah, I went home over Thanksgiving break and had a fee waiver from IU-B.  I thought sure why not? Mind you I'm from MA, never really had ANY (and I do mean ANY) intention of moving to Indiana, but here I am. IU-B 2010.  They were the first to accept me and actually treated me like a person as opposed to W&M (my top choice) who made me feel like they were doing me a favor and couldn't care less if I attended there or not.

I was so close to going to Rutgers....and then they pretty much ignored me one week after acceptance vs. IU-B flying me out for free and treating me like a king..

...and I met Cynthia   ;)

this is definitely true for me. I applied to NYU only because I received a fee waiver, and here I am!

I applied to Emory on a mission to cover my bases in the South...

But it wasn't until I actually visited that I fell in love with it.

You know-- the whole "this just feels right" thing.

A generous scholarship offer confirmed that feeling :-).

No...I have two exams and a paper due tomorrow, so I TIVO'ed it!

But I'm guessing no Rory + Logan, eh?

Good riddance. I always had a major crush on Jess.

I definitely applied to Columbia on a whim/fee waiver.  The thought of living in NYC scared me and my GPA is nothing special.  However, one visit and lots of neat mailings later...!!

Applied to Vandy cuz of a fee waiver... then they became my top choice... and now i'm going there! Also made my boyfriend apply to their med school just in case I liked it. They had a B***h of a secondary. He had to write a miniature autobiography! Lucky me... I got to help.

Tulane was always the school, when I was telling people where I applied, that I would forget about.

And yet, here I am and I'm quite excited about it.

I applied to Case Western because it was free.  Then I started looking at the school, and I actually love it.  Barring any waitlist miracles, I'll end up there.
