Wow, congrats everyone!  They seem to be taking more off the waitlist than last year.

The thing I don't understand is the point of the interview.  I think mine was literally a minute long.  I don't see how there could have been an evaluative component at all.

Mine was 90 seconds tops.  It's for yield I would assume.

The operative question is if called will you serve?

The "what type of law" 10 second question is just so they can call their yield protection an interview.

In my humble opinion that is.

Right, it was totally a yield thing.  (He also asked where I sent my deposit- I assume that if it was Y/S they wouldn't bother with an admit?)  But that begs the question why some people were interviewed before and not admitted, and we could be admitted essentially without an interview.  I guess they don't care at this point.
