You can post hypothetical stats, so long as you designate them as “hypothetical”, and you accept a hypothetically appropriate cat.

Oh, oops, I'm sorry. Currently I'm just feeling impatient with people who tell me I have no direction because I'm not OMGSOSURE what I'm doing when I graduate....... three years from now.

Tell them that you have direction: you're going to law school.

And if they say that's a problem, tell them we said it was okay.
