i'm realizing that instead of following this thread, i should be watching the yale waitlist thread. that seems like the only possible way anything will likely happen on stanford's.

Where are you heading if you don't get off the WL at Stanford or Harvard, Don C?

Well, assuming I don't get off the Yale waitlist either, I will be going to Cornell in the fall.  How about you?

Someone really should call the Admissions Office to ask whether there is any chance they're going to the wait list this year.  It's beginning to seem like a snipe hunt!

Of course there's a chance.  From what I know of Stanford's Admissions Office, there's little reason to think that one would be able to glean anything more from a phone call.
