Being an attorney, and being caught with Marijuana/marijuana pipes

One of my friends who is a lawyer is an open marijuana smoker, and I am just curious if he ever were to be caught for posession, could he get disbarred for that? If so, doesn't really seem like it is worth the risk at all to me.

wow, I was feeling articulate...

anyways, post edited to simply say that I hate people who take this stance ... there are many worse things you can do to your body than smoke pot once in a while.

Yeah he could get disbarred.  They'd almost definitely bring him in for some form of hearing and it would probably depend a lot on the circumstances, his professional reputation and which Bar.

srsly...heavy drinking is pretty damaging. Marijuana on the other hand...
