No, I haven't done that...You can still get an offer from them if you don't, right? How much does this really help?

I know for a fact that it helps, if you really want to go to UCD then you should let them know. At this point in the cycle they only want to admit people who will attend.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely do want to go to UCD! I am still curious if they've started taking people from the waitlist yet (aside from those that got offers in May).

I haven't heard anything about that.  Did you get that e-mail they just sent out, though?  The one asking for a reconfirmation, etc...

No I didn't receive any email and that is what I was afraid of. I think the people who are asked for reconfirmation have a better chance of being taken. When did they send it?

I actually don't know anyone else who got that e-mail.  The only person I know from my school that applied to Davis actually got accepted, though she might withdraw to go to Boston, lol.
