I was offered the spot, but the 110k average of debt made me reconsider attending dozo....and Brooklyn for that matter.

I hear you. It's tough one.  I turned down money from Seton Hall and in-state tuition from Rutgers. Ask me in ten years if i made the right choice. 

Where are you headed?

Just got a call a couple hours ago that I was accepted to the May start.  Im in cali so the move would be a lot on such short notice but I'm hoping I can do it...hopefully I will see you soon!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place online or if you know anyone that needs a roomate for the summer?  I'm from Cali and will be starting the May program so I'm frantically looking for somewhere to live until I can move in to the on-campus housing for fall.

Any help is much appreciated!!!

Did you guys check with admissions about housing?  They sent out an email to the May class asking for anyone who needs help with housing to contact them.  They are trying to connect people.  Online, I would look at Craigs List-- it's not great for outright rentals but is very good for sublets and such.  You should definately be able to find something because lots of people vacate the city during the summer. 

I've lived in and around NY for a long time, so PM me if you have specific questions about neighborhoods, trains etc.

Hi Everyone,

Also in the May start program - attended UG in NYC and live right near Cardozo currently so I'm open to any questions you have about the area.  Anyone know if the bookstore is currently open so I can beat the rush?
