H4CS - roughly about how many people in a given class use laptops v. paper?

Who knows.  It various by class.  Only a small handful of people will never use laptops.  Most people do and some will use laptops in some classes and paper for others.

So do other sections have this ban on laptops in class or is it only section 7?  So far, Torts, Civ. Pro, Contracts, and LRW have all banned use of laptops in class (well, LRW allows use for in-class assignments).  No word on Admin law yet, but this appears to be a general "rule" for section 7|

Laptop policy
Pursuant to the Section 7 policy, we will not use laptops during lecture/discussion periods.  But you may use your laptop for in-class writing and research exercises.

I've heard through the grapevine that one of the Section 5 profs have banned them, too (Property, maybe?), but I haven't doublechecked this for myself yet.  Anyone know for sure?

You guys have Donahue.  I heard lots of stories about him but don't know about the laptops.  I also bumped into a Section 5 person who was trying to find the distribution section.  I forgo thow adorable nervous 1Ls can be.

I wasn't planning on bringing anything and I was going to wear dockers and a white shirt, boring but about the only thing I

Hey, cassise and I seem to live on the same floor, and we were talking about getting an HLS LSD meetup off the ground, now that we're all in Cambridge. Anybody interested in going out Saturday or Sunday night? Anybody want to choose the venue? I can speak for Grendel and John Harvard's, but I'm open to suggestions.
