George Washington Waitlist

Anyone heard anything further? I called on Friday and was told not to call again till the end of this week, but I thought I'd see if anyone else had persuaded them to give up some information.

I'm beginning to think no one will get in off the waitlist. They sent us a letter suggesting that MANY people would be getting in off the waitlist.

I think people will get in off the waitlist, but if they extended the second deposit deadline to last friday (the 22nd), then I'm sure they'll need more than one work day to figure out who to admit off the WL.  They probably said not to call back until the end of the week, because they won't begin admitting people until then.  My guess, based on absolutely no knowledge or foundation, is that they'll begin calling people on friday.  I'll be surprised if it's any sooner. 

I do know one thing though... as soon as I see that first WL,Accepted on LSN, my heart will sink.

i just find it so odd that so far the GW waitlist has been pretty quiet. i see the other schools wl threads on the board and a lot of them have at least some activity.  GW is a great school but it's not harvard so you would think that it would experience some of the top down trinkle down effect from people getting into higher ranked schools. i guess only time will tell at this point. waiting is soooo annoying! i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one going crazy with the wait.

Yes, I will be going for sure.  FYI- I was told that "a very limited" number of applicants would be admitted off of the waitlist.  Good luck to everyone.
