George Washington Waitlist

Anybody have any ideas about when or if it's going to move?  It looks like not everyone is biting the huge scholarships that the new dean tried to use to recruit the high LSAT people.   Hopefully that equates to some acceptances!

I called on friday and was told that I was on the waitlist. From what I've heard they overenrolled last year and as a precaution underaccepted with plans to rely heavily on the waitlist. I also read someone else's post that they overheard people in the admissions office talking about going to the waitlist in May. I would say the outlook is good for a waitlist situation, but then again it is still a waitlist and by nature will be torture until a decision is made.

Barring a scholarship offer of considerable size or some other unforseen turn of events, I'll be withdrawing from the PT division some time in early May. I certainly hope one of you gets the spot!!

Congratulations on Cornell!  My God, the decision should be a no-brainer.  Although, Georgetown would be nice as well.  Thanks in advance for the opening!

How did you hear that you were waitlisted at GW? E-mail or snail mail?
