Planning ahead

I'm 14, and home schooled. I'm interested primarily in becoming a prosecutor, and wondering what I can do now to help prepare. Any suggestions?

Hoestly you really don't need to do much.  Two pieces of advice:

1) Go to a halfway decent college, get semi-decent grades (3.3 or higher), get an OK score on the LSAT (mid to upper 150's at least - and get yourself into a tier three of higher law school.

2) When you are eligible age-wise (16 perhaps) try and internship or two at a DA's office.  See if you like it!

One more question: I live in Idaho, which is not exactly a center of law school locations. If I go to an out of state law school, I would have to move there if I were to follow up on a job offer by the DA. Do you think it's better to go to to a state law school, or go to a better out of state one?

I know I'm asking this too far in advance, but I wanted to know.

And what is this about a "job offer by the DA"? They're recruiting from middle school now?

If I wasn't clear, I mean receiving one in Law School, not now.

I didn't miss the point, I simply didn't acknowledge it  ;) .
