As stated in the title, has anyone heard of admissions offices considering this proposition?  Ei. being offered a positionf off of the waitlist if one were to defer for a year?

Anyone hear/been through this?  The school I would like to go to id wait for for one more year if it guarenteed me admission.

Are you basing this off of a past cycle or something?  I ask cause i could have sworn i read about this somewhere but i cant seem to find it anymore.  I think it was Michigan that did this?

Michigan does this, but I have not heard of any other school with a similar program.
