hey guys,

i was just in philly last weekend (sorry Team Pam - i couldn't meet up with you, my schedule was packed with apartment searching and dealing with my father, trust me....it's tiring.)

and i'm pleased to say that i got an apartment! and it's not the domus, sorry, i probably won't be a neighbor, but its a beautiful historic brownstone with purty hardwood floors. anyone up for a little lsd party? (unintentional pun)

sure!  where is it?  when i was there for the ASW, my host lived in a fantastic brownstone off of 23rd street; I'm rather jealous of your find!

well dont' be TOO jealous - i'll be walking a hell lot more than you are. But i just couldn't find anything below 17th that i liked. (Yeah i'm living all the way up on 15th). Neighborhood is important to me and pet policy was important to me - this place let me have my cats for minimal cost and has a nice night-time ambience (all the other places i was looking at were deserted at nighttime...creepy)

there is something called buses that i'm planning to use often. or subways. whatever. I've heard people trash septa but it doesn't seem that bad, then again i come from a place where public transportation is non-existent, so my opinions are a bit skewed

Haven't posted in the Penn thread in a while...how's everyone doing?  Just something I thought I'd share...

I'm confused...did people get the letter in the mail with the pennkey set up code yet?  I know the law keys aren't available but I have not gotten the pennkey stuff yet either

i'm heading down to philly tomorrow night to look at my apt and check the city out some more.  anyone else going to be there in the Wednesday-Friday night window?

i can hang wed 5 or thurs after about 1:30.  fri night i think i'll be in nyc.

allison- i got mine at least 3 weeks ago now, you might want to call penn and ask them about that, especially given your close proximity to the school

yeah that's pretty ridiculous...i know the e-mail says to expect them in june, but that's weird if other people got them.  thanks!
