Urgent help needed.  I'm going down to philly Wednesday-Saturday with my family to check out apts and the area.  Can the philly folks recommend two or three restaurants that are must visits (especially on the parents' bill!)?  Preferably one of them being an Italian place, if possible.

italian-- my new favorite italian is osteria-- http://www.osteriaphilly.com/-- its about 4 blocks north of city hall. not a typical restaurant area, but not hard to get to. totally worth it.

steak-- barclay prime, http://www.barclayprime.com/. the 100$ cheesteak is tasty (kobe beef, butter poached lobster and gruyere, with a small bottle of veuve) but prob not worth 100$

Twenty Manning and Fri Sat Sun (less conceptual than some of the others, but good if your parents like more mainstream places)

Alma de Cuba: Stephen Starr's take on Latin cooking

Tequilas: really incredible and somewhat pricey Mexican

Meritage: often overlooked, this place has AWESOME classic food.  very parent-friendly atmosphere.
