Coming late to the game.. but welcome, BelleFille!

I find it a little hilarious that we're landing more people from UVA... Poor JSHM.  :(  Maybe we'll get klaydoh, too... :)

So I'm sticking with UVa after all. But Penn is definitely awesome- it was a tough choice to make! Thanks for all your responses, and good luck next year  :)

'belle-fille' would be daughter-in-law. In common parlance, one would probably here more often 'jolie fille' than 'belle fille'.

ahh, i was just assuming she meant the words to be separate and translated literally

Hello to all the new people!  I've been absent for a while cause my laptop died, but I just ordered a new thinkpad so I should hopefully be much more frequent in a few weeks.

So a question for the Philly people:  Do the grocery stores up there have green chiles, cilantro, or jalapenos?  Those three things can make lots of good food, especially the green chiles, but I'm kind of afraid that they might be a regional thing.

Also all new people should add me on facebook.  I'm the one from Texas Tech.

Lets make a little diagram, shall we?

Harvard calls, Penn students answer
                |
                V
Penn calls, UVa students answer
                |
                V
UVa calls, no one answers, and johnny cries  :-*

I was going to UVA until I got in Penn with $. I fit the same pattern.

lol, me too.

also, asking, is there a Whole Food around law school?

Of course--it's not Siberia.  :D

For the freshest peppers, you'll definitely want to hit the farmers markets.  At the Fitler Sq one, there's a small table that ONLY sells peppers--the guy is super cool and will tell you which ones are good and how you should cook them.  Sometimes they sell cilantro there, too.

Also for the foodies among us: DiBruno's is pretty much the best thing to ever happen.

Rusty, if you're talking about Hatch/NM green chile, I plan to have my sister ship out tons of it to me.  I can sometimes find it frozen here in LA, but I've never seen it back east.
