I'm not living in Post either...visited it and didn't enjoy the no w/d, no microwave, no overhead lighting deal, although the property amenities were very nice.  I am living in Sloane Square which is VERY close to there, cheaper, and includes the w/d and microwave. Oh, and there are ceiling fans and overhead lights.

The property management company said that some fifty or so people called about the property after I called, but since I was the first person to call I had dibs.  I guess religious checking of the websites served me well.

Do most people have messenger bags or actual backpacks?  I want something sturdy and where my laptop won't be banged around.

I saw some nice bags from patagonia and ll bean.

Get a "Laptop sleeve," and pick the bag that you like the best.

I'll be getting a laptop sleeve and just using a regular tote to carry everything in...that's what I used in undergrad and like best.  Secured my apartment today and received confirmation of my second seat deposit, so I get to go for real now!

That will never stop, especially since Atlanta is only 5 hours from Gainesville and it appears we have our basketball coach back! 

I am originally from Arkansas, went to college in Florida, parents moved to Texas when I went to college...

glad to see there are a couple of other people who felt it was safe to leave NY... and everyone i met at ASD, long time no see! had to stop obsessing for a while and take care of other life things.

question for captain longshot: i applied for 1 bedroom at clairmont throught their online registration form. how soon would i hear back from them and is it reasonble to expect to get a 1 bedroom this late? i received an email confirmation of my application but haven't heard anything for two weeks....
