I just had a serious Office Space moment at work where I just wanted steal the printer that keeps paper jamming when there is no paper jam and take a baseball bat to it.
Anyone else ever have this happen?

Not that specific example, but I have had my own Office Space moments, like when I borrowed someone's Swingline, then she took it back and gave me a Stanley Bostitch instead of keeping the Stanley Bostitch and letting me use the Swingline.

I think they would fire me if I did that. I will just wait until I about to leave for school. As long as it doesn't get me arrested...

I have moments like this all the time with the stupid fax machine. I get so pissed off, I just want to smash it into a hundred pieces. All it does is blink and beep and it never faxes anything!

Jeez I hope that as a patent attorney I'll be working with other scientists so I won't be the token guy to fix the printer/fax/copier. Why can't people find paper jams in copiers? It's not like the copier doesn't give you explicite instructions as to where they are. Why does the fact that I'm a chemist mean that I'm the natural person to call when there's a paper jam in the copier? Next work place, I'm playing dumb and acting like I don't know how to fix anything forever.

I can find some paper jams in copies, but most of the time, I can't figure out how to get the damn thing apart to get to the jam. (we have these massive 3 piece copiers that somehow "snap" together. I don't know why their so damn complex...)

The problem isn't when there actually is a paper jam, it is when it is a phantom paper jam. Have you seen the movie? That is what the reference was to.
