any links for some manly bags? 8)

ebags.com

Some of the companies above (crumpler, sfbags, etc) have 'manly' bags too.  You just have to explore a little.

I've pretty much decided on this one:

http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=5F5E6BCA&nplm=TK930LL/A

but I want to see if they have one at the Mac store in town so that I can look to see if it's big enough.

Can anyone recommend another backpack that fits a 15'' MBP and has plenty of room for casebooks?

This is what I use.  It does the trick.

Yes.

I just bought this bag. To test it out, I loaded it with a 15" huge old Gateway (bigger than the MBP), two large law school casebooks, a medium sized 500 page hard cover book, an Ipod, a power brick, and a one inch three ring binder. I'll throw in some pens and a spiral notebook too. It fits all of that stuff fine and doesn't lose it's shape. That's the bag I would get if you are willing to spend $109 bucks.

Also note that the bag is not huge and ridiculous looking on the outside, and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Yeah it is nice. You can find additional colors around if you search other online retailers too.

If you get this one, I would definitely wear the helmet to class.  That would be sweet.  (Seriously, though, the bag is nice.)
