I'm going to stick with my North Face Borealis and also bring a smaller duffel for my gym stuff.

I think im going with the North Face Recon, my friend at OSU Law said it works for him

I was looking at the Timbuk2 backpack with the courdory laptop sleeve but it only had 1400 cu/in whereas the Recon has 1890

I'll tell you, I spent a metric assload on a laptop system last summer, which I quicly discovered was waaay too big and heavy for my midget self.  I ended up using this instead (which someone had given me for free.)  I'm not going to win any style awards, but it fits everything and hasn't destroyed my back yet.

I'm also a Timbuk2 afficionado and have several of their messenger bags, but the weight of the books was too much to get away with a messenger-style bag for long.
I was referring to your intellectual penis. Which is quite robust.

Jolie is creeping up on me.

In UG I used a Patagonia bookbag with a padded laptop compartment that I loved.  They don't have the same backpack anymore though, and I like it better than the one they have.

So far out of all the bags suggested I like this one the best...

Early I said Zero Haliburton, which was to be honest a tongue in cheek joke, but this time I'm more serious. I'm quite fond of the bags made by Schlesinger http://www.classicluggage.com/SCHLESINGER_LEATHER_GOODS17334.html
Gas: UMD, W&M ($$), Wake Forest, Emory, GW, GMU
Clutch: Michigan, Notre Dame, UVA, AU (yield protect?), Duke, BC (Michigan told me no on 6/13 - Thank you MI for being courteous and letting me know)
Brakes: Gtown.

31 male here... I think I'll get the 2nd one... ;)

Seriously - I'm about to order an L.L. Bean bag.  Worked for me in H.S. '90-'94, and in UG '94-'98. should work in L.S. '07'-'10.  I only wish I could find my old one so I could trade it in. Damn those lifetime warranties.
You know, I kind of want a new bag for law school now.  I like these two:

and love this one:

Unfortunately, the third one is nearly $300!  :-\
