English not the primary language
« on: September 15, 2004, 11:27:22 AM »
Hi,
I have no idea how i will do on the lsat. I am just now starting to look over the single sections. Games might kill me.
could one tell me if it makes a difference to the top ten schools that English is not the primary language (in case I score average on the LSAT)?
thanks

if you score average, you won't be in the running. Your UGPA and LSAT combination still needs to be comparable.

I don't see wny it would be a factor, unless it shows in your PS (like bad grammar, etc).  If you are asking if it will help that you are not native english speaking, then I would say no, unless you speak cherokee.

Thanks for the answer
yeah, I guess I am a bit worried (freaked out to be exact) about the LSAT, especially since i have heard how hard everything is. I haven't been in this country very long and where I come from no tests are requiered to get into Law School. it is all very new.
