also, i think it's a good idea to convert the word document to a PDF.  just seems a bit more professional to me.  to do that, print the document but instead of selecting the printer, select PDF or whatever.  that's what i did for an addendum i had to send out a few weeks ago.  i'll probably send mine this weekend, although to be honest, i'm already starting to look elsewhere.
Mr. Braddock: Would you mind telling me then what those four years of college were for? What was the point of all that hard work?

If you know the Dean's name, you could address it to him/her.

I started mine by stating that I was a fall 2007 applicant.

I emailed mine to a school, waited a day, then called them to see if they received it. They hadn't. I emailed it again, and faxed it, and then followed up again. This time they received it.
