Grants and other need based aid
« on: April 02, 2007, 05:57:11 PM »
Has anyone seen grants in their aid packages?  I got a ton of these for undergrad when I was under my parent's wing, but now that I'm single I haven't seen any.

Graduate students (including law students) aren't elligible for grants.  Yes, it sucks, but them's the breaks.

Go to the US News rankings and pay the $15 to check out the full info on the rankings. (The info may be on LSAC too, but I haven't checked.)  They have the percent of students receiving grants and the median amount of grants (which can be $20,000+ at some schools).
