Just a quick update, still nothing in the mail today so they definitely have plans.  Hopefully a few more of the people who got the May 4th deposit-deadline offers will withdraw so I can get a call.

Got a letter today that basically says:

"we need an extra 2 weeks due to deposits and deadlines this year, at the end of the 2 weeks you will be offered admission or put at the top of the waitlist".

So no rejection for me!  /pump fist

Anybody else get this letter?  It says only a "very small group" got it.

Well congrats man it looks like one way or another you'll be ending up at SMU this year.  Letter sounds pretty encouraging to me.
