hi all. i've been waitlisted at several schools (see list below) and know there has got to be something I can do on my end to increase my chances of admission. What is the standard operating procedure for a waitlisted candidate? Write them a letter expressing continued interest? What about school-specific stuff...is there any tips that seem to "work" better for particular schools? Any links to helpful threads would be appreciated. Anyway, my waitlist list:
UVA (for what it's worth, I'm a VA resident)
also, my current situation is thus: I graduated last May and traveled for 6 months. I'm currently looking to land a job that won't have a problem with me leaving in the fall for LS.
thanks in advance.
