American U Lap Program
« on: March 30, 2007, 09:33:42 AM »
Anyone have info on AU's LAP program?  The faculty/student panel at the admitted students reception spoke briefly about it.
Is it worth applying for it and spending the first two weeks in August in a "preview" type class?  Does AU offer study skills classes (e.g., outlining, exam strategies, case briefing, etc.) for 1Ls during the semester?  Are these classes worthwhile?

So . . . are folks applying for this? It's kind of right when I wanted to be moving in and getting settled. So I might not. Think I'll be missing out?

I"m right there with you Kate!  I'll be in South Lake Tahoe for a family fishing trip July 14-22...sooo I'll have between then and Aug 1 to get settled in.  Seems like a pretty impossible task!  I doubt I'll be able to do it! :(
