John Marshall Atlanta v. South Texas
« on: March 29, 2007, 09:10:56 AM »
I have been to John Marshall twice and really starting to feel like this is the school I need to be at. However, I am taking a super fast trip to Houston, this Monday thru Tuesday and wanted to know what (if anything) people had to say about South Texas. Any input from anyone???? Thanks!

South Texas is a great school, with really great professors and student body.  Both schools are good in their cities, but don't really have much of a traveling name.  I think it boils down to where you want to live, Georgia or Texas.

South Texas, while not up in reputation with the other Texas schools, is a respected institution that has become known for putting out good litigators (though it does more than that!) and should get you access to plenty of well-paying Texas firms (especially in Houston).

You should go to a place that makes you happy, but as student said, your ease of access to jobs will boil down to where you want to live/work.
