Yeah I liked the female professor that taught the course. I think the best part of these admitted student receptions is talking to the other kids. Lots of valuable input. I also liked the post reception open bar. I was able to talk to some of the students and they all seemed really upbeat and friendly. Wish I didn't have to drive 100 miles or I would of had a couple more brews.

I'm 75% there.  I have some more waiting to do before I make it official though.  I have a feeling it will come down to UIUC (in-state tuition) and BC if I get accepted at UIUC.  However, that's not stopping me from mailing in the deposit.
Boston College 2010!

Staying on WL at UIUC and ND

I've been stalking all the BC threads for months, just hoping that I'd get to join in - and HERE I AM! Got accepted this morning, and haven't 100% decided yet, but I am incredibly excited.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you guys! Now sell me on BC over Fordham.  ;)

excellent!

BC over Fordham?  SO easy ... Go to Fordham if you enjoy scratching and clawing with your classmates, trying to get a good enough grade to beat out kids from the two T14 schools in your city.
BC rules Boston, plus the degree is more portable than Fordham.
And of course there is this list:

You will have just as easy of a time getting a top job from BC as you will from Fordham, but you can do it while attending the disneyland of law schools ... who wouldn't want that?

Ha, I figured y'all would say it was an easy choice!  I think I'm just ambivalent because it's seemed so futile the last few months that I really convinced myself that I could be happy at Fordham.  Basically, I didn't let myself get really invested in BC because I thought there was no way I'd get in at this point!

I've never been to Boston, so this will certainly be an adventure. I'm paying practically full  price for Fordham, so might as well pay full price for BC (no info on finaid in my package).

So, bamf, since you've clearly done your BC homework, care to point me to some informative threads? :) :)

(Sorry for being so wordy, but I am seriously still giggling with glee that I got in! Probably says a lot about where I should go in the fall..)
