For the folks who are planning to start the 1L blog

this guy blogged his whole law school experience and just finished at CLS.  Two of his last posts give a whole bunch of advice for people considering doing what he did.  I haven't read through the whole thing yet but it seems interesting.

I read his blog. I like the whole "Screwtape" style of instruction. Good stuff. And sound advice.

I can't make it to the BBQ, sadly. But I'm just wondering - how many of us are still going to BC Law?

sooo how the heck do I find housing in Boston? I'm freakin out! I don't want a roommate so I don't know if it's worth it to go to the housing fair? and the school's off campus studio housing was all full.

I'd say it could still be useful to go to the housing fair ... there are probably going to be a bunch of realtors that will be able to show you single apts.  Other people seem to have had some luck with Craigslist.

Last year I found my apartment through the BC grad student housing listings. These tend to be BC alums who own apartments in the area and prefer to rent direct without the use of an agent. For example, I know the apartment above me is looking for two incoming female law students and is currently listed there.
