I signed the lease yesterday!  Also, the bf says I should shoot you for recommending Little Black Book, which we're only halfway through so far.

I have now joined the rest of you in becoming a college graduate, whee. It was a pain in the ass (the pomp and circumstance of the past few days, not so much college itself). Did meet a few people from my school doing grad school at Michigan next year (none at the law school). Valedictorian is actually going to UM for dentistry.

On the subject of early planning, friends and family members are already hitting me up for Michigan/Ohio State tickets. The friend is an Ohio State fan.

Anyone looking into buy computers yet? The Michigan Computer Showcase 'Welcome to Michigan packages' look pretty good (the prices for lenovo thinkpads they have are comparable to the price my mother can get for being an ibm shareholder + 25% off memorial day sale), but they are for incoming UGs only. However, the website says they'll be having another sale beginning Aug 1 with similar prices for all members of the UM community.

Pretty much done with the move.  Two couches are being delivered tommorow.  Also, my SO will do some decorating when she comes out next weekend.  But by and large we're moved in.  Enjoying a cold beer and relaxing now.

Welcome to Ann Arbor!

I have my car here and I made sure my apt came with guaranteed parking of course. I don't plan on driving to school as the walk isn't all that bad so I didn't bother looking much into parking near campus, just enough to know that I'd rather avoid it at all costs.
