Question for those in the Bay area.

What are some things to do in San Francisco that are cheap/free and don't kill an entire day?  Has to be a million things to do.  I'm just not sure what.


Any/all suggestions welcome!

walk around the city.  go to the downtown district.  chinatown.  little italy.  you can't really go wrong.  haight ashbury is a let down; its all commercial now.
