I suppose I should have known that this thread would quickly devolve into a Julie Fern bashing session. However, I'd like to say that although I am not a democrat, I am finding myself rather liking Obama. His instincts seem to be towards leaving the private sector and personal privacy well enough alone, which is nice for either a dem or a member of the GOP. Futhermore, he has had a wealth of life experience if not executive experience. Finally, he's a pleasure to listen to and he can actually write. We could do much worse.
