Your 'tar seems to be working fine now.

And yeah, I'm attending Hastings. I live in San Francisco, and have been working at a law firm in the Financial District for almost a couple of years now. Compound the factors like scoring a good rent situation, friends, lack of relocation, quality of education vs. other schools i've been accepted into, pre-established connections into the SF legal market, etc., Hastings is my choice and I plan on rocking it hardcore. :D

I applied to hastings thru LEOP as well. From what I know, they take their sweet time particularly w/ LEOP applicants.

Friend of mine applied last year, didn't get rejected until May. I don't expect my rejection till then either. Hope this helps. :)

Wow, May is ridiculous. I know Hastings's deadline for first seat deposit is April 1st. Maybe that could be a good marker to work with?

i applied via LEOP in mid-November and received my acceptance about 3 weeks ago (late Feb).  However, I'm planning to withdraw.

Same time frame as the above poster but I was rejected via LEOP. We sent apps and received our decisions within a couple of days of one another.

Side note: I'm white.

applied via LEOP in mid-Dec, and accepted in Feb. but NOT for the LEOP though. (a few weeks after the decision, I received a separate letter notifying that I was not qualified for the program but they still wanted me to join the class of 2010.)

does being admitted via LEOP equate to taking the small bus to school?

I applied to Hastings via LEOP and I wouldn't consider myself in the "small bus" category. I liked the additional help that came with LEOP. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten in without. I think that is the stereotype the program carries though and a reason Hastings struggles in the US News ranking.
