Is anyone else coming a bit early? I'm from the east coast and have never been to SF, so I'll be there come Wednesday. I'll be exploring the area and the city I guess. Anyone else doing the same?

So.... do you think they'll feed us? Sounds like a yes on lunch, but less clear about dinner?

Maybe a good time to check out one of the cool restaurants around.

Anyone bringing guests? To the party that night, or anything?

I'm pretty sure I'm brining a guest to the party (not sure about any other event.)

Do people at Boalt Ghost Ride? (Note to ask Dean Edly)  :)

Same here, so I was thinking of touring the law school and Berkeley on Thursday.

I'll brainstorm. What do you like, or think you'll be in the mood for? Outdoor activities? Museums? Shopping? Restaurants?

You probably could get this information elsewhere, but I just want more activity in this thread!

Definitely drive through Tilden Park if it's sunny and clear. You get an amazing panoramic view of the entire Bay Area from most of the lookout points.

hmm...I'm flying in so I kinda need activities which rely on public transportation - no car : (
