Wrong forum.  Why ask this before taking the test?  The logical thing to do is study and do as well as you can then determine your options based on your score.  Yes, you can be competitive at a (lower) T14 if you score well, but will knowing you need to score a 170-175 make it easier to do so?

Get a 169 and you have a decent shot at Cornell, Duke, Mich and maybe Northwestern.  Get a 170-172 and you have a good shot at GULC, UVA and Penn.  Get a 173+ and you will at least get into NYU, with your chances at Columbia and Chicago increasing with your score.

Crazy (and disturbing) how 2 or 3 points on the LSAT could make all the difference in the world in what school you get into.

I agree L.O.A. And in response to the OP, if you haven't started you need to go ahead and start doing some serious studying if you already know t-14 is for you. I would aim for 170+. Good luck studying.

I think this is the best answer.  With a 3.5 (or even 3.0-3.49), you have a shot at most T14 schools.  It all depends on how good your LSAT score is.

motorola, you're definitely asking way too early in the game. Your GPA is fine and is above the 25% at I think most t14s anyway. Scoring in the upper +160's gives you a fair to great chance, as long as you're somewhat interesting.
I'll join the cool crowd: 3.23/173
