Summer Jobs
« on: March 19, 2007, 11:08:38 AM »

 Hey!

Does anyone know of summer job oportunities working in a legal field that would a) look good on a law school application and b) give me an idea of what I am looking forward to as a career.

I still have one more year left of my undergrad, so I wanted to do something this summer thats intersting, and related to law.

Any suggestions?

I worked at a provincial court last summer.  I just applied to a general pool of government jobs especially reserved for "summer students" (you had to be in undergrad though) and I put on my resume that I was planning on attending law school, so they placed me there.  It was mostly administrative work, but you got to deal with real law-related cases and had to be pretty knowledgeable about things because you get all sorts of people calling and asking weird random questions.
