Keep the Captain out of the Looney Bin...
« on: March 15, 2007, 02:57:41 PM »
Ok, lets try and come up with some ways to keep from going insane as the deposit deadlines near and we haven't heard from multiple (6 for me) schools just yet.

There are six schools that I haven't heard from, all of them are schools that I would definitely consider attending. I can't pick a school until I have all my decisions in, either (because I have a mental block on it, I guess).

So, what do I do to keep my mind off this stuff?

Man, I need some advice on this too. I have a thesis to write but obviously that's no fun.  Spring break + boredom + law school madness = recipe for a mental breakdown.

I've been trying to take the edge off with movie-watching and the like, but it's just not working!!

March Madness starts tomorrow at 9:30 for me, and continues only as long as Nova keeps winning. Regardless, there are only two games a week that I could potentially care about
thereby negating any reprieve it might give me.

Aw, but the rest of it is really exciting too. Oral Roberts is all geared for an upset. Too bad I picked Old Dominion for my upset. My bracket's gonna be screwed by end of day.

Oh sweet Carolina....how much I love you

Ever filled out a bracket?

Yep. But I assume I am going to lose. It's like Ron Popeil-style for me, "set it and forget it."

Besides, I always make Villanova my national champs, so my bracket is guaranteed to be busted.

I still have up to 6 schools left that I'm considering with a month to go, and I can't get rid of any of them.  I suffer mental breakdowns on a daily basis, so I could use some suggestions as well.   :o

Journeyman, I am dumbfounded as to how you got into IU and W&L with your numbers. 155 LSAT and you applied to Vanderbilt? Honestly?

I have nova out next round. For your sanity's sake Cap'n, I won't mind losing that one.
