Totally.  How awesome would that be?  It would totally help your diversity too, especially if you wrote about it in a statement, and they could compare what you wrote about to the handwriting on your app.

Heck, I might even handwrite the personal statement!

In my situation, yes.  If I was a scribe, I'd probably handwrite it.  As stands, on a good day I can pass for a doctor.

my handwriting is horrible.  My profs would hand back my blue books with notes about how they had trouble reading it.  I tried to put the blame back on them since they were requiring those damn things instead of letting me write a real paper.

My handwriting is crap, though sometimes I would get credit for answers simply because the professor or TA did not want to take the time to decipher my writing.

See, this can certainly be a plus.  Bad handwriting, contrary to popular opinion, is far from a bad thing.  There's always the computer if you need something nice, pretty and discernable.

If I was a modern day scribe, I would scribe the application over by hand and then type in my information...all of this would be on a hemp-paper scroll.

Man, those are some nice teachers.  Some just give no credit if they can't read it.

That would be the most stylin' thing I could possibly imagine... they'd HAVE to let you in then!  If not, may the curses of the thousand gods of Egypt be upon their heads, and may Osiris spit in their eyes eternally while Anubis humps their legs!
