Retaking the LSAT bad?

I just want to here what others have to say about this... Is it bad thing to take the LSAT 3 times, improving more each time?

If the improvement overall (5+ points, 148, 156, 163 for example) is significant this can help you big time (although still averaged at quite a few schools) but if its only a point or two then this may not be the best thing especially if the average doesn't change (148, 150, 152 for example) Just my opinion.

I'm a mixture of what you said IVY..  I went from a 142 to a 144 and finally a 149.  I'm applying to a couple of schools that take the highest score.. Hopefully btw the fact that I took the test over and a few minor dings on my criminal record, it won't kill me..

Well first time was in June '03, second time was December '03, and the last was in Feburary..
