because in almost all things that can be empirically measured the US is better than Canada.

yeah. i'd need to study additional 1-2 years to practice in canada. if i went to a canadian school, i'd be qualified for the bar exam in MA, NY, and california without. it is also a heck of a lot more money. and right now, i think i will probably work in canada. at the time of the application, i thought i might like relocate to the states semi-permanently, since my family is an immigrant family anyway and not really tied to this country. it's been a little while since i came back home from my american college now, though, and my mind is starting to change.

i should really go to a canadian school! :o

o nooooz!! what am i going to do with all my american friends? :(

Go work in MA and NY, some of us are bound to end up there.
I'm also reconsidering this question and if I get into McGill I might just go back there for another 3 1/2 years of whatever.

So confused about this. Why does the US seem a more exciting place to study and practice the law?

need more input from Canadians who have chosen for and against the top schools in the US. Where are all of you?
