Will Lexy ever translate lyrics I sent her?
« on: September 12, 2004, 07:52:17 PM »
Okay, I sent her some song lyrics over a month ago, the lyrics
are more in the form of a poem, and I kindly asked since she
enjoys analyzing poetry, would she mind analyzing the one I sent
her.  Haven't heard from her in over a month.

Anybody else good at translating lyrics/poems?  Yes, I really
want to know what the lyrics mean, what the author is TRYing to
say.  Uncharacteritic of me, I been wanting to know the meaning
of these lyrics for over 10 years!  Anybody Good at it?  I can
post the lyrics write here in a message if anybody wants to take
a stab at it.

Feeling no love from lexylovesya  >:(

And so she woke up
Woke up from where she was
Lying still
Said I gotta do something
About where we're going
Step on a steam train
Step out of the driving rain, maybe
Run from the darkness in the night

Sweet the sin
Bitter taste in my mouth
I see seven towers
But I only see one way out
You got to cry without weeping
Talk without speaking
Scream without raising your voice
You know I took the poison
From the poison stream
Then I floated out of here

She runs through the streets
With her eyes painted red
Under black belly of cloud in the rain
In through a doorway she brings me
White gold and pearls stolen from the sea
She is raging
She is raging
And the storm blows up in her eyes
She will...
Suffer the needle chill
She's running to stand...
Still.

Care to elaborate?  The same author wrote another song about
about a friend of his who dies from a drug averdose, it would be weird
that he wrote two songs about the same incident.  I have no f-ing clue
what it means].  Which part points you to see a relationship to drugs?
Surely not the painted red eyes?

That would not be wierd.  It would be wierd if he didn't commit at least one album to it.  It's a heroine song.
