Summer Concert Plans

Anyone planning on going to some good concerts this summer?

If so, who are you seeing, when, and where?

Uh, I do...

Usually you buy tickets for concerts...like...a few months in advance.

Who was I kidding though, we all know LSDers are completely incapable of discussing anything music related.

May 19: Tool in Oklahoma City

June 1 and 2: Incubus in Los Angeles

I'd like to go to one of reunion shows for The Police, but ticket prices are outragous!

Roger Waters on June 9th

There will undoubtedly be more, but I have yet to decide

I might check out the Beale Street Music Festival and/or Bonnaroo thie year too (the former being more likely)

Roger Waters???

Are you serious?

Have you seen him live before?  I wonder how many Floyd songs he plays on his solo tours.  I reckon maybe a handful?

Bonnaroo has an incredible lineup this year, by the way.

Yea I have seen him, this past Sep.  He actually only played 4 songs NOT Floyd.  And the second set is Dark Side, straight through.

His backing band is effin good too. Snowy White has played with both him and Gilmour and is fantastic, and Jon Carin is no unfamiliar face himself on the 'boards.

He's definitely worth seeing.

I reaaally wanna go to Bonnaroo, but it's a huge hassle

??

No reason for it, I'm sure the 324134134 people smoking around me during the show will do the job.

That's pretty cool that Waters does Dark Side all the way through...I still think that's the single best album possibly in the history of rock music, and certainly the last 50 years.

Damn, I just checked his tour dates, and there is nothing in my area.
