Moved to Arkansas w/Bill.
Got married/had Chelsea in Arkansas.
Worked/practiced in Arkansas.
Moved to DC when Bill was elected President.
Moved to Westchester NY after Bill left office/elected to Senate in NY.
Generally, you gotta be native-born to even be considered a Southerner-but I don't even know if Chelsea would be considered a Southerner since she moved from Arkansas when she was 12/13 (?), graduated from HS in DC, went to Stanford and Oxford, and now works/lives in NYC.
Texans are a whole 'nother breed though- if you live there long enough you can be considered a transplant. Adopting use of local vernacular generally helps- "y'all" and "fixin' to" move mountains.
