I'm attending weddings in state all summer and going to try and work, so I'm moving down late July/early Aug.

I believe Orientation is on Aug 13th so I'm giving myself about two weeks to get acclimated with the area.

I plan on studying on the beach if thats what it takes to get there!

weddings?! it always creeps me out to hear people my age getting married.

then again, i think i'm a very young 22. but still.

im 23 and don't see marriage coming for awhile...my roommate is 27 and already divorced...how creepy is that?  She got to keep all of the furniture so, at least our house is nice.
Attending: The "U"

IN: UMiami($$), UofArizona($$), American, URichmond($$), UofSouth Carolina($$)
OUT:  BC, IU-B, UF,
WL:  GWU, UNC, UGA

Don't worry, it freaks me out too.  And I am going to 9 weddings this summer of friends my age....22!!!  :o  And it seems like each week someone else gets added to the list!

Thats what happens when you live in Stillwater, Oklahoma....it is the norm here and I am more of the odd ball.   ???

alot of ppl from my hs are getting married. but that's more of arural area like osu_fiji said I think it's more common there.
Of my college friends I don't know of anyone my age getting married anytime soon (myself included). I wonder how many of these young marriages will end up in divorce by 27 like Forget money said? My guess, a high percentage

what goes on these rural areas?  if you're bored, you just get married...early?  9 weddings in 1 summer?

sh*t, by the looks of things on this thread, i'll be the oldest guy in the class.

Most of this is subjective, but:

better weather
better location
better school overall
better job prospects
cheaper cost of living
with the right LSAT, much cheaper given typical scholarship

Have you visited User? From what I understand that's about all you need to sell yourself, besides look at all these fine classmates you'll have at miami, where's the rutgers thread?

I have not made a definite decision, but right now I'm actually leaning heavily towards San Diego.  It has nothing to do with the schools, I think they're both awesome.  I just see San Diego (the city) being a better fit for me and my personality as compared to Miami.

That said, there's still a chance I'll go to Miami, albeit a very small one.  I might make another trip down to visit Miami and the school once more before I make a final decision... we'll see.  I did send in my deposit in the meantime.
