Yeah, I totally agree. I think that when I start up in the Fall, that is what I will be doing instead of full-time.

Matthies,

About how long do professors usually take to get grades back to students?

Mid terms are usually pretty quick, 1-2 weeks was my experice. Final grade are anouther story, don't expect to get grades till very end of Dec or first of January, every year I have been at DU I have not had all my grades in before the next semester was about to start.  If your not happy with your grade GO SEE YOUR PROF in office hours, this will REALLY HELP YOU. Make sure u have specific Q's ready. Good luck on your exam.

Does anybody have hardaway for Civ pro? I think I still have my HUGH outline for his class if anyone wants it.

thanks for the info.  I have hardaway for civ pro.  I would love to have your outline just as a reference as I start to make my own.
I will pm you my email address.

School has been a bear.

I did get my mid-term from Torts back.... A-  I am actually really happy about it.

Other than that, I cut my hours back a little bit, but whatever, I am keeping up well enough. I keep falling slightly behind in Civ Pro, but I am getting caught up. What has really helped me is my study group. We have a really tight four-person group that really works well together.

Hey, nice job on the midterm.  What LP section are you in?  Hurley?

For those of you that currently go to Denver - when did you get word on your admission status?

I sent in my application in early September and just got back from visiting the campus.  I am more anxious than ever.....

Thanks for your responses!

My dates are a little weird because I got in through a conditional program. . .but, for whatever it's worth here is my timeline from 2006 entering class.

Applied in late Dec/early Jan.
Confirmation received within a month.
Invitation to summer conditional program in early May.
Summer conditional program in July.
Acceptance about 2 days after the end of program.

You may also want to check other people's status on LSN to get a general idea.
