Well, I got a missed phone call from a 510 number at around 8:50 am PST. No voicemail. There was an email in my inbox but I hadn't checked it yet. I called back the number and Dean Tom informed me that they had a spot for me...I said yes on the spot because Boalt has been my #1 all along. I still can't believe it's real. Thanks for the congrats, guys. Best of luck to everyone!

Pugnacious, you may not even be reading this thread anymore, which is obviously OK.  But out of curiosity, had you responded to Edward Tom's most recent mass e-mail to the waiting list ("in anticipation of possibly using the waiting list...")?
