Do we get mailboxes at the law school that we can have things sent to?

No.  Only junk fliers go to your law school mailboxes.

ETA: Although you actually can have courier packages delivered to the law school

To current YLS students:  how critical it is to attend orientation? In the past orientations have not been critical but I don't want to miss anything important, plus it's Yale so I feel more obligated to attend. I'm asking because a friend offered me a free ticket to Florida right before classes start. I checked the Law School calendar online and it listed four different orientation days. The 27th is grad student orientation, the 29th is JD orientation, the 30th is registration, and the 31st is orientation for all new students. If any current students could let me know which of these is important I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Registration is mandatory, I believe (you receive your class schedule and have to sign a bunch of forms...and you probably don't want to have to deal with trying to get the registrar to let you do this late).  The 31st might have some "mandatory" things as well, but I don't think you have to sign anything.

Not critical at all. I think the only thing I went to was registration.

sure.  Oh you mean you actually want to receive the mail?

So just to clarify:  We can't have regular snail mail sent to those mailboxes, but we can have packages sent there?

Correct.  And the packages aren't sent to the mailboxes; you pick them up from the package window.

np.  The mailboxes are pretty useless.  I only checked mine like twice last semester.

Somewhere in this thread, someone said courses offerings for this coming year were online.

Anyone have a link?
