Davis, Hastings, WTF mate?

So my status date changed to today's date (about 6 weeks after I went complete), but my status has not changed from "complete-ready to review." Has this happened to anyone else?

If you mean Hastings... this happened when I went complete.  The date changed, but not the status.  Today I got my decision.  A big fat ERRNNT!

Checked today and my status checker says WL, ah well.  It says an e-mail will follow with details. 

Do you still have to put a deposit down for a WL, does anyone know who has been Wl and received the e-mail?!

No, you don't put $ down on a WL. I do remember reading on their site though that if you get offered an acceptance post-WL, you have to accept it immediately.

If you really want Hastings -- and you were waitlisted -- you still have a decent shot.  Hastings take LOTS of students off the waitlist.  I suggest you at least call the admission office in a few weeks and let them know that you are really interested, especially if you say that you will go to Hastings if accepted off the waitlist.  I know a couple students who go in, whose numbers were below-average, who got accepted this way.
