Ok, so let's discuss your question more. I'll admit that I've only been watching Heroes religiously for the past month and a half. I don't remember Hiro at any point telling Kaito about his powers. Did I miss something?

Hiro says that he has to stay in America to fulfill his destiny.

I don't remember Hiro at any point telling Kaito about his powers. Did I miss something?Well, I could be remembering it wrong but I thought he did blabber on about having a special mission, etc. If his dad is that involved with whatever special group or agency Mr. Benet works for I would think he would already know about Hiro. Hiro has, afterall, met with some key players who the agency/group already knows have abilities. I think his dad knows, but I wonder why he's pretending he doesn't. Also, I'm wondering who the Haitian is working with.
never watched it
Perhaps it's important that they're Japanese, since the stereotype there is family honor, and having a mutant son would bring disgrace (although if he knows about Hiro, why would he want him to be the face of his company?). As for the Haitian, I thought he was working with invisible guy (who as I understood it had been hiding Claire at some point)?
i don't get it.what's the deal with heroes?what makes it worth watching?
